One of our Clients who works at a leading bank and brokerage firm investment desk, consisting of 8 traders, provides services for individuals and institutions that are investing online has recently deployed our Aggregated News Feed. The company offers an electronic trading platform for the purchase and sale of financial securities including common stocks, preferred stocks, futures contracts, exchange-traded funds, options, mutual funds, and fixed-income investments.

Challenge

The main concern our client faced working on an equities trading desk, was as they were visiting too many separate websites frequently to find out if the content on the site has been updated which obviously was very time-consuming. Also, they were looking for a News feed that delivered regularly updated summaries of various web content, including headlines that link to full versions of that content. When they subscribed to a feed using a feed reader, they should be able to quickly see summaries of new information all in one place, a widely supported format for feeds.They were in need of such an application that can track market sectors & where they could monitor Twitter account news as well, with the fastest speed access reporting.

Solution

Aggregation technology helps to consolidate many websites into one page that can show the new or updated information from many sites. Aggregators reduce the time and effort needed to regularly check websites for updates, creating a unique information space or personal newspaper. Once subscribed to a feed, an aggregator is able to check for new content at user-determined intervals and retrieve the update.

With lots of customization requirements, Trident Global successfully designed a Notification tool for them named Aggregated News Feed, which tracks market sectors and organized news as per asset classes by providing information directly through API making it a Credible source. Customized the news feed by selecting keywords to search for and look for certain stock tickers for example and customize the news to follow specific portfolio relevance. We are constantly monitoring the Application & displaying news in a relevant format.
